Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
You will need a 10" Bundt cake pan for this. Grease it down and dust it with
flour.
- How to Prepare the Yellow Cake Filling
Combine the cinnamon, the brown sugar and the flour. Cut the butter into that
mixture until the mix is crumbly. Set it off to the side for a few minutes.
- How To Prepare The Cake Batter
First, tell him to look for something low and away (just kidding). Here ya
go...
Combine the yellow cake mix, the sour cream, the water, the beaten eggs, the
oil and the vanilla in a mixing bowl large enough for a mixer. Beat the ingredients on low speed with an
electric mixer until everything is moistened. Once that happens, beat the mixture for a couple more
minutes on the medium speed.
Pour one half of this batter into that Bundt pan you made ready in the first step, then, sprinkle the filling you
made in the second step over batter you just put in the pan.
Evenly spread the rest of the batter over that filling and use a knife to make
a few swirls in it.
Bake your Sour Cream Yellow Cake Mix Recipe for 45 to 55 minutes, or until the cake tests done in center (a wooden
toothpick poked into the center should come out clean). After you take it out of the oven, let it stand for 10
or 15 minutes.
Over a cake plate, invert the pan to let the cake slide out. If you can make
yourself wait, let it sit for 15 or 20 minutes to cool down before serving.
While it is cooling down, combine the warm milk with the melted butter and add them to the powdered sugar. Mix
them until they're are smooth and drizzle the mixture over warm cake.
Now it's time to pour a glass of cold milk and indulge
yourself.
